Daisy Avenue

In 1946/7 a few pre-fabricated houses were built on the east of Saltcotes Road by the railway bridge. They were quite small having just two bedrooms. The short road in the middle was named Daisy Avenue.They were demolished in the early 1960s , Daisy Avenue became Salcotes Place and council flats were built on the site.
