Park View school

Park View school was run by the Leathley's at 18 Park View Road. It catered for pupils aged 5-8 and closed in the late 1960s. The headmistress was Eva with Joan and Dolly. Miss Hunt was another teacher.

Three rooms in the house were used as classrooms. The one upstairs for the youngest, then as you got older down to the front room. You finished up in the back room. The playing fields across the road were used for sport.
